Just Be Mine
Three years seems a pop music eternity, so take this former X Factor contestant's title somewhat literally. Timing aside, Lloyd picks up pretty much where 2011's Sticks and Stones left off: melodramatic quaver, able rapping, snappy beats. You can tell she's aiming for multifaceted musical audiences, what with the melancholic rock of "Sirens" and the weepy Country & Western ballad "Goodnight." But then she gets right back in your face with the NSFW brat anthem "M.F.P.O.T.Y." and spars good-naturedly with T.I. on fetching disco-pop single "I Wish."
